IONIA is an Amsterdam-based boutique international sales, distribution and co-production company. We focus on festival-driven films, high-end series and original IP from across EMEA, working with a very small, carefully curated slate of distinctive works.

We handle international sales, licensing and distribution across all rights windows — theatrical, festival, streaming and ancillary — partnering with creators, filmmakers, showrunners, broadcasters, distributors, financiers and other rights-holders across Europe, North America, MENA and selected markets in Asia and Latin America. We also help shape and structure European and international co-productions with strong platform and theatrical potential.

Beyond rights exploitation, IONIA represents and advises creators, filmmakers, showrunners, providing creative and strategic guidance around development, festival and market positioning, finance matchmaking and packaging, and distribution. Our aim is to build sustainable, long-term pathways for original IP and creators from our region to travel worldwide.
